Board of Directors MeetingThe March 8th meeting of the Board of Directors was held at the Tway House. The agenda included review of expenditures since last meeting, addressing items presented by residents attending the meeting, following up on old business, addressing items of new business, and reviewing the web site under development. |
Spring PlantingsYour Residents' Association has a contract with R. L. Volz Landscaping and Nurseries to maintain the public areas for which the association has responsibility. The flower beds have received their winter plantings of pansies throughout the community. You can see photos in the Gallery on our web site. The median between Shelbyville Road and the access road will be the next area to have sprinklers installed. By doing this as funds become available, our Board of Directors' avoids the need to increase our annual assessment. Additional Holly trees will be planted in the median between Shelbyville Road and the access road to restore more of a sound barrier for our residents living there. The Pine trees originally planted as a sound barrier continue to diminish as they age. As the budget will allow, more will be planted. Plainview Yard SaleThe Residents' Association will coordinate a community wide yard sale June 5, 2010. The association will provide signs advertising the yard sale at entrances at Timberwood Circle and Hurstbourne Parkway as well as Cambridge Station Road and Shelbyville Road. Participating residents will affix balloons to their mailbox the day of the sale to indicate their participation to yard sale customers. |
